Sometimes when I open a file, the smart options display pops up and follows my cursor. It has almost no delay before it pops up after moving. No tools are useable when this happens, including anything that is in the SOD. The ribbon is clickable. I can change views. I can change layers. I can change tools from a palette, but they are all non-functional while this is happening-- I cannot even select objects. The only thing I have found to stop it consistently is to start a new document then switch back to the document I wanted in the first place. It happens most regularly when I open a backup file (I have suffered a few crashes lately), but occasionally from a regular file. I don't think I have seen it happen when opening the application without opening a file, but I cannot be certain of that. I don't use the SOD, and it is turned off in my workspace. I often stop and stare at my drawings when thinking, and I don't like to see it when that happens. I can remedy the problem when it arises, but does anyone have any thoughts on how to prevent it, or does anyone else experience this who can offer more info?

I'm having trouble with Enscape buttons displaying the windows they're supposed to open after clicking on them. For example, if I click on the materials or Enscape object library button, nothing happens. This also many times happens via the original tools panel... I think this error started happening after I created a custom toolset that displays my Enscape tools and some other tools via the smart options display. I leave a screenshot so it's easier to understand. Has anyone else have this kind of issue? Has anybody else placed Enscape tools in the smart options display?

Smart Options Display Middle Mouse Button behaviour with Pen Tablet

With the new Vectorwoks 2021 there is the great new feature 'Smart Options Display' I set in 'Vectorworks Preferences' to 'show with middle mouse button'. I am using a Wacom Bamboo Pen Tablet, where I have one of the buttons set as 'middle mouse' behavior. Which normally functions fine as a middle mouse button. But with this feature the middle mouse button provokes the 'pan' tool (as in the old days) most of the times and sometimes it will trigger the 'Smart Option Display'. I am experiencing a mouse clicking battle 😅 and would like to tum of the 'pan' function when using the 'middle mouse' button.
