I am on a PC, new to Vectorworks but not completely green I can not for the life of me get my resource manager to show up; just trying to get through trainings tried the display resolution changing, reducing and adding back in monitors, tried opening it through the view-pallets drop down, and obviously control "R" is not working. I have looked everyone on the screen, behind the window, etc to make sure it isn't pinned somewhere and cant see it anywhere. I have pinned and un pinned the tool set, attributes, object info, etc several times to see if i was missing or covering up something to no avail. when i do press control "R" the screen "blinks" or you can tell something happened... I just cant get the darn thing to show up so i can do... most anything 🙂 Help Please 🙂

Inside the Symbol Edit --> COMPONENT EDIT --> Save Palette Position currently not Possible. When working inside a symbol, the COMPONENT EDIT window pops up. It keeps sitting in the way of my drawing, which is rather inconvenient. Therefore I would like to save its position in a different location of my VW file. But when saving the Palette Positions, even when I am inside the symbol editing mode, it won't save the Component Edit position. Talking to my tech team, they say its currently not possible. Can we PLEASE consider an customisable location in the near future ?

if anyone can advise: 1. I know a lot of people use laptops and additional big screens. I have a MBP 15" and additionally 27" screens. Even though I save palette position if I open VW on just MBP and then back on the big screen it never goes back to saved position. Same palettes but congested/overlapping. 2. Quite often when reopening the VW the palettes are also just a tiny bit off with some overlap. In both cases they appear shifted up as if the screen was a bit smaller. I guess I could keep two workspaces but then I need to remember saving changes to both of them.
