    My studio is looking to use Vectorworks for both 2D and 3D plans. Would I have to assign a 3D symbol to all of my existing 2D ones? or are there easier ways to put sockets, switches and lights into a plan? I've attached a screenshot of what the plans usually look like but these are only in 2D.

    I'm attempting to "Show 3D Detail" with electrical devices e.g. outlets and switches. I'm getting rectangular cover plates to display on my interior elevation viewports but they all display as blank cover plates (no switch or plug receptacles appear). Also, I don't see any option for a horizontal orientation. Is anyone getting better results with these? Thanks Ed
