I am too having the same problem, as are others I know running 12.5. I have found that it has been happening sooner after restarting VW each time. This past time I didnt even make it a minute before all my palettes froze. I am not running any programs alongside VW and just installed VW tonight. Does anyone know how to stop this from happening? Its more than irritating.

Katie- This is what happens. The dongle lights up as the computer is restarting and then the light goes off. I open VW and get an error message. The message reads: A Vectorworks dongle could not be found. Make sure that the dongle is connected an that all required drivers have been installed. Vectorworks will now quit.

I did that and nothing happened. Well, the same thing happened. VW didnt find a dongle and closed. What else can i do?

I had the same problem. It installed fine but never asked for a dongle and i cant run the program. My dongle is purple and my serial number starts with a B. Is there anyone who can tell me what to do?
