It turns out that, when the heliodon object is set to appear as a 2D symbol only, it does not appear in the Visualization box. So, I just had to go through and turn them all back to the 2D and Light setting. Thanks all!

I have a dozen heliodons in this model. It seems that I should be able to turn them off and on from the Visualization Palette, however, they do not appear there when I open it. When I try to create a new light source, Heliodon is not listed as a type. Any guidance would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I'm having the same problem. Made a model and printed to pdf files at a size to fit onto 8 1/2 x 11 and I have these 5 MB pdf files, which, by the way, I notice redraw including ALL of the data in the model, including objects that I cannot see in that particular view. Maybe that has something to do with it? The reduce file size function in Acrobat isn't taking care of it. Thanks.

Thanks - I was working on someone else's drawing and redrawing accurately worked!

Using the dimension string tool, I dimension a string consisting of 1/4", 1/2" and 3/16" dimensions. Then, when I dimension it overall, it comes out as 7/8". All of the preferences - both under Units in the menus and in the Get Info box - are set to 1/16". I'm running 11.0.1. Any leads?
