  1. I have tried a similar layout and I haven't found a problem! The only thing that can be wrong is that all the end points aren't touching! Try using the connect/combine tool with the 2nd preference checked on the top line (dual object connect) to join the walls. This will make a polygon of all the walls and hopefully fill them properly too!

  2. you can also double click on the eyedropper tool and check the boxes that say set as default and record. This will make the class active and then if you go to the classes menu that class is selected and easy to turn off! You then have to change what the current class is though!

  3. Is there any way that I can set up a viewport that rotates the shown drawing by a specific angle without changing the design layer drawing?

An example would be to fit a drawing on an A1 sheet by rotating the view when the original North South orientation doesn't fit so the viewport will show the drawing with the North South orientation at say, 45?.

    I hope this makes sense

    Thanks

    Dee

  4. I had drawn them as decorative hanging tiles and trimmed them to the lines......well nearly all of them! Is there any way to determine which ones are the offending arcs as there is quite a bit of decorative tile work.........in hopeful anticipation!!!!

NNA can you please iron this out as it never seemed to happen with the older versions!

  5. On a few occasions when drawing a number of arcs the drawings print out with lines and arcs all over the place. These are not seen on the drawing itself! This is most annoying as you can imagine. I have even copied over arcs from a drawing without the problem and these mysterious lines have appeared on the new drawing! They ruin the drawing and there is no way that they can be issued to Clients! Any answers please?

    Thanks

  6. Jonathan,

I am using VW 11 but not Architect! I have the roof on the same layer as the walls and its when I try to 3d reshape the walls when I come across the problem of the walls reshaping from a peculiar point in space to form a "W" shape. It's very trying as in the past the only way that I have been able to "fix" the problem is by drawing a polygon and extruding it!!!

    Thanks

  7. I am trying to reshape a wall to create a gable to meet a roof which I created using the roof face command. The problem that I have is that sometimes the walls use an "origin" point well below their supposed bottom plane! This then creates a wall that is "W" shaped. I've checked its siting in space and all things in the OIP and now I am stuck!!!! Please help!
