Hello Is a way to use truss data tag instead of report ? I just want a data tag who count the truss element of a truss system, I can do it with report but I have to duplicate and edit each report with different filter based on position or classe or layer... I looked in the data tag parameters but i didnt found the count fonction , so I think it isn't possible to do what I want ... If a way exist it will be faster than edit report 🙂 thanks !

Yes but I'm looking for a quicker way, if possible inside VWX Because I'm a wysiwyg user since r26, when I really need it I rent a license (but it is very expensive 😉 ) I'm trying in twinmotion because I've a license with vectorworks, and the direct link works well, and the texture and assets are very nice, Vision isn't good enough in my opinion. The time I loose to pass thru vision isn't win with the result, but it is in twinmotion when you dont need dynamics light , and in wyg for dynamic lighting . I had forgotten this document... One question because of the setting We can't have different glow texture per fixture type who take the color object ? I have the problem for multilens fixture ... 🙂

What are your settings for the best lens rendering ? Is a way to simulate flare ? is a way for the light source come from the all lens ? Here is the best I can do in vectorworks in WYG for exemple as you can see the beam come from the all lens,and flare is simulate And here what I can do with twinmotion It take time because I've to change all the lens texture, give a neon texture with the same color as the beam but it works well

Even i 'm "active only" in top plan view , the referenced is in top view (not topplan)

On the toher layer I can select some option as the view (an arrow appear when my mouse is over it ...) but nothing happend for the layer with the viewport and the referenced file

Hello is a way put in the datavisualization only the elt who are in the file ? I have an DTV recorded with all the elt I often use , but as soon as I apply it if, for example I have only 2 elt , in the legend all the elt appears ... I have to uncheck all the unused elt who take time and is source of mistake ... 🙂

Hello thanks for answer, I'm not sur too understand your quetion ... it is a referenced viewport with an extern target VWX file. Is there many way to do that ? I created a new viewport on an existing design layer, and choose an external ref. I saved the external file in topplan

Yes it works but only in topplan or shaded view...

Hello I've another problem with DtV trusses, worksheet, and hanging position As soon as I convert a truss to an hanging position, it "loose" it's record and truss parameter and my dtv and report doesn't work .... It not really loose it but hanging is like a group and record/ parameter are inside, but dtv and report based on record stop working... I tried to use hanging position in order to have the fixture automatically classed by position, may there is a better solution ??? orange and pink truss are the same but the orange one are convert to a hanging position thanks

Hello I've a project with the venue as vwx referenced file, And there appear at top view instead of 2dplan view . everything works well in the original file file referenced project with the referenced file who appears in top view (5)
