I have this problem too with every file that I export as an EPS. When I open them in Adobe Illustrator, there is always a little speck in the upper lefthand corner.

Can you import a 3d studio object into VectorWorks? I never could, but I have tried.

Ignore my previous post... not sure what happened there. I have an HP455CA too and can't get it to work with VectorWorks 10 at all (mac). Everytime I need to plot, I have to export to VW 9 and plot from there. This is a pain!

I have used both Art?lantis and Renderworks. Art?lantis rocks! Renderworks blows (at least when it first came out it did). I gave up on Renderworks a long time ago. Art?lantis is so intuitive and easy to use. The results are awesome too. My only complaint is that the lighting can be difficult to set up properly. Art?lantis is definitely worth the money. Go for it.

I have the same exact problem ( I am using a mac ). There is no pull down box in the print dialog that I can see though....

I have tons of symbols that were created in VW 9 and VW 8. In those versions, the symbols rotated around the insertion point which is always at 0,0. In VW 10, they all seem to rotate about the objects center regardless of this insertion point. If you like, I can send you a few examples. How can I send to you?

I am working in VW 10.1 on a Mac with OS 9.2 and the same exact thing happens to me. It never happened with VW 9 though...

I have been using Vector Works since it was MiniCAD in 1996. Since upgrading to version 10 on my Mac G3 with OS 9.2, I noticed that when I do a convert copy to hidden lines on something that has been drawn in 3d, Vector Works randomly omits certain objects. Even if an object has been duplicated several times, Vector Works will render some of them sometimes, and the others do not show up at all. Unfortunately, I am forced to do a lot of hidden line renderings in VW9.5. I find this unacceptable and hope it will be fixed as soon as possible.

In VW 9.5, when you rotated a symbol by changing dialogue in the Object Info palette, the symbol rotated from its insertion point. In VW 10, when you do the same thing, the symbol rotates from its center point. Is there any way for me to change this so that it rotates from the insertion point?

I recently upgraded to VW 10.0.1 and immediately noticed that in the resource browser, symbol names are displayed with far less characters than were in VW 9.5. Is there any way to change this? I have several libraries of symbols that I am having difficuly using due to the fact that I cannot read their complete names in the browser.
