Would you please clarify which aspects of the navigation you find difficult? We spent a lot of effort on the navigation and would like to hear how you think it can be made easier. We are actively working on numerous improvement of the viewer and will be happy to include navigation improvements in our upcoming iteratiiterations.

some geometry is missing
Comparing the https://tinyurl.com/y7vuwwhp and https://cloud.vectorworks.net/links/11ecafc3ad270371ba2e0e94425bea9f/, I think the planar geometry is missing, which is not yet supported by the new viewer.
There is a way for you to continue to use the old viewer while we work on adding support for planar geometry.
You can bring back the old Export Web View menu command from the Workspace editor. When you upload the .vgx file to the Vectorworks Cloud Services web portal, it will open it with the old viewer.
I hope that helps!

A fix for this issue has been included in Vectorworks 2021 SP3, which was released on March 16-th, 2021. This service pack is available as a downloadable updater for all U.S. English-based versions of Vectorworks 2021. To install the service pack, please select Check for Updates from the Vectorworks menu (Mac) or Help menu (Windows). We have also released a Vectorworks Cloud Services desktop app 9.0.1864. Versions 8.x are no longer supported due to the nature of the changes that were released on March 16-th. You can download the latest Vectorworks Cloud Services desktop app from here:
Download for Mac or Download for Windows.
By the way, the temporary Cloud Storage option in the web view export doesn't use the Vectorworks Cloud Services app in any way.
Please let me know if you continue to have issues.

I am not aware of any plans to make the two viewers identical at this time. I will enter it into our tracking system as something consider implementing in the future.
Thanks for your feedback!

Yes, the .vgx file is displayed by different viewers when opened in Nomad versus a browser. Note that you can use the mobile browser on your device, to access the features that the browser viewer provides.
Please let me know if you need any additional information.

@jbtroost Thank you for your help!
Yes, my experience with Chrome is also the best when it comes to viewer performance. Other browsers are not as optimized as Chrome.
I don't think there was ever an export setting that relates to shadows. It is in the viewer - in the Settings panel.
I hope that helps.
Please let me know if I could help with anything else.
