a flying drone, controlled by the modeler, would be the best but the tech is not present yet as these cannot fly for any usable length of time (8hrs)
It's a great idea, one could do a fast checkup how the works in the field are going on.

The best way to do it, is using Design Layers Viewports and referencing, Set up a file with the site model and then create a Design Layer Viewport for the house, and duplicate the viewport in the correct places.

I've tested and Vectorworks render much slower in Sierra than in El Capitan, but I tested only the spanish version
-
What SP are you running, I've just tested and Vectorworks minimizes correctly with several documents open.

So when I'm updating to a new machine, I'll have to buy a new license?!?!?!

Not likekly to happen, because once Nemetschek buys a company, most of the time they let that company run independent from the others companies Nemetscheks owns, right now owns ArchiCAD also and AllPlan, and for example there is no plans to do a Mac version of AllPlan or of another windows centric software, like DDS CAD

Yes, even in viewports, where straight walls looks like one wall, round walls don't "join"

Yes, I've got similar results, my thinking is, if you ungroup the stair is basically a Mesh object, so I think the only way to obtain the volume would be to model the stairs with extrudes, too bad and time consuming...
-
Is there a way to extract the volumen of a Stair? When I tried to do a Report or using a worksheet to obtain a volume, the result is always 0. Any ideas?

Looks great, great job!

There is a way to add or remove flights in the Stair tool? Like we do it with the Custom Stair tool?

Well, in recent versions of Mac OS X, Vectorworks 2010 will not work correctly.
Also, Vectorworks 2016 cannot export to Vectorworks 2010, only to Vectorworks 2011.
See this Kbase article

The method works, but note that in the model each part of the gable ends are independent extrudes.

Greetings, I'm proficient doing modeling and drawing sheets, I can help you with the CD and presentation DWG files.

WebView Script Error
in Troubleshooting

Hi everyone, I'm trying to export to WebView a small project, the file upload to the Vectorworks server, but when is goinf to open the browser to show the model gives me a script error. And I'm unable to view the model.
I've been using webview for other projects and never had an issue.
I'm using Vectorworks 2017
macOS Sierra
Safari as default browser..
