Theater Seating

I can't find any documentation on how to properly use the "Theater Seating..." function under the "Drafting" menu in 8.5.

I'd love someone to either point me in the right direction on where to find documentation on how to use the tool, or to just explain it to me! Thanks!

The theatre seating tool is fairly easy to use. Draw an arc that you want to place seats on. Place two locus points on this arc to define the ends of the row of seats. Now run the theatre seating tool. You should see a vectorscript message bar that will prompt you to do the following.

1) Select the arc you wish to draw seats on and then press enter.

2) Select the locus point for the counter clockwise end of the row of seats and press enter.

3) Select the locus point for the clockwise end of the row of seats and press enter.

4) you will then be asked if you want to create seats based on this data. Click yes and the seats will be drawn and the chair widths displayed for each seat.

You can cancel the command at any point by pressing the spacebar.
