Calculate storm water runoff flow rate (Using the formula Q = CIA (C = Coefficient of runoff, I = rainfall intensity and A = drainage area)
Define a drainage area
Assign a coefficient of runoff to each area per land-cover type (hardscape, building roof, lawn area, gravel, etc)
Input a known rainfall intensity, run the Q=CIA calculation for each drainage area (note, the drainage areas may be different than the land cover areas so this would need to use the intersection of the areas)
Use the generated flow rate information to size drainage pipes.
