PJ
what is TagSchema exactly? when do you use it? Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Robert Anderson Posted May 18, 2005 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted May 18, 2005 TagSchema is a record format that tells the ID tool which fields of what record want to be linked to the text in an ID symbol. It uses a convention to allow simple (_very_ simple) parsing, so you can (if you know what you're doing) append two fields into a single string in the symbol, for example. See the "advanced topics" appendix in the VW Architect manual for more detailed info. Quote Link to comment
PJ
I saw it and I didn't get it because we generate worksheet or report from the record format. why do you want to link text in record to TagSchema. Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Robert Anderson Posted May 18, 2005 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted May 18, 2005 It's used by the ID Leader object which is placed by the ID tool. Quote Link to comment
