I used to be able to dimension centers of doors and windows - but no longer - how do I get VWA to snap to center of doors and windows.

I thought using the oc modifier icon would create a locus to snap to but this doesn't seem to be it.

Windows should not be a problem. You should be able to point to the center of the glass and get a snap point if your object snap is enabled in the Constraints palette. For doors, enable the Ceiling View to get a full head, then snap to the center of that. I'll look at getting the locus put back in the door object.

Is there a way to globally toggle the ceiling view? Or do I have to go to each door one by one and change the ceiling view in the OIP?

Kevin, VWA has two commands "Show Ceiling View" and "Show Floor View" for this purpose.

A cursory look at the commands in the menu bar didn't show those two commands. where would they be found?
