MikeN
When drawing a rectangle using the rectangle tool, a thick black line surrounds the object until I'm finished selecting the start and end points. It happens only when using the rectangle tool and only in certain files. Did I miss something with the release of 9.5.1? Is this a toggle or a bug? Quote Link to comment
MikeN
No one wants to tackle this issue? It's still a problem. Should I be going through Bug Submit on this one? Quote Link to comment

Guest
This happens in all of your drawings? Are you using a template for your drawings? If you go to a new, blank document and create a rectangle with the rectangle tool in the 2d tools palette, you can reproduce this exact error ? Quote Link to comment
MikeN
No. This only happens in existing files. I'm not using a template and this does not happen in a new blank document. Quote Link to comment
Guest
Then there is probably a problem with the files you are working with. If you copy and paste one of the "trouble" files to a new, blank document, does the problem still exist? Quote Link to comment
MikeN
This problem seemed to vanish when pasted into a new document. Although upon saving, exiting and reopening the file a few times, it re-appears. This is happening in a few files, not just one. Quote Link to comment
Guest
The problem comes back up again when you open the new file ?If you want, you can send one of the files in and see if we can find what might be causing the problem. Do you know what version of VW these files were drawn in originally? Quote Link to comment
