I am having problems saving preferences made during a session such that when I re-open the saved files, those saved preferences are still set. Instances: 1.) Double Line Preferences-I can set the separation to 3.5 and Create Polygons and those preferences will be maintained while the file is open or until I change them. If I save the file and reopen, then those preferences reset to separation 0 and Create Lines. 2.) The same thing happens with 'eyedropper' prefs. I would like to lock in 'picks become default' for all file openings (if I choose) but it always defaults to unchecked. 3.) The same thing occurs with constraints palette. I would like to set 'Smart Edge' to ON as a default for all file openings but do not see a way to do so. ALL of the above maintain the preference for a session or until changed BUT . . . ?? Is there anyway to lock in my own preferences for those tools? Quote Link to comment
