APE Design Ctr Posted February 11, 2006 Share Posted February 11, 2006 Hi all, here is something I usually dont have any problems with: record reporting. I have created a handful of new 3D symbols. I have attached the appropriate record formats, I have edited the records with information. Then I go to produce a report, and nothing shows up. I have tried everything, new worksheets, new documents... If I produce a report of just symbols, then everything shows up fine. Any ideas? Quote Link to comment
APE Design Ctr Posted February 11, 2006 Author Share Posted February 11, 2006 Another note - VW doesnt seem to want to look inside the symbols for the records, as the records are embedded in another symbol in the entire assembly. Yes I do have the 'Search in Symbol' checked in the options... Quote Link to comment
APE Design Ctr Posted February 15, 2006 Author Share Posted February 15, 2006 Further investigation shows that my records that I have attached in my symbol library somehow get stripped when I import them into a new document. Any suggestions to why this is suddenly occuring? Quote Link to comment
