Hugo
I just upgraded to VW12 and I'm very happy. I've been playing with the new features and I've been very pleased with the new tools, like opacity, better selection handles, better DWG export, etc. I particularly enjoyed the X-Frog library included with my package (Designer). Initially I installed VW in my Mac mini which is connected to a Sony CRT monitor. Everything looks great with Quartz Imaging and Anti alias turned on. Now I did a test and installed the program in my iBook G4 to see how it behaves here. And to my surprise, images (specifically the X-Frog wonderful library) look terrible in the iBook's TFT screen if Quartz Imaging is on. Turning it off solves the problem. So I would like to know what is the problem here. Is Quartz Imaging not suitable for laptops and TFT screens? Does the same happen in iMac G4s/G5's, Powerbooks and Powermacs connected to TFT/LCD screens? [ 01-05-2006, 10:06 PM: Message edited by: Hugo ] Quote Link to comment
