APE Design Ctr Posted September 7, 2005 Share Posted September 7, 2005 I have been ripping my hair out with the rendering time for multiple viewports since upgrading to 11.51, and my frustration has been evident through other threads and posts I have commented on. I decided to do an experiment, and freshly re-build the template I used to do my drawings in 11.51 instead of using the one created in 11.01. I have exactly duplicated the template in 11.51, and I have gained literally about 10x more speed in rendering times by building it in 11.51. On a typical design I just completed, rendering of all the viewports took a meer 4 minutes, where if I use the template created in 11.01 (rendered in 11.51), it took-no word of a lie ... 35+ minutes! I just thought I'd let all you frustrated people know that it may have to do with some carryover files or templates?? Eddie Quote Link to comment
