Floating Panes should have their own controls

line-weight

Question

When I use more than one pane, I have the main one on my main monitor and the floating on on my secondary monitor. There are a number of things that don't work very well with this but the thing that causes me most bother, is that if I want to change the class or layer visibilities, activate a saved view, or alter things like projection type, I have to firstly make sure that secondary pane is 'active' and secondly bring my cursor all the way back over to the main window, in order to use the controls in the top bar there.

This feels awkward and anti-intuitive to me, and it constantly results in me changing something in one pane when I wanted it to change in the other, because I've accidentally got the wrong one active.

If the floating pane had its own toolbar/dropdown thing along the top, things would be much easier.
