Ben Hammett
Help! I'm working on a project and the larger it gets the more Vectorworks crashes. I'm not sure what a "Typical" file size is but mine is up to 330MB and growing. I'm running v.11.0.1 on a G4 Dual 1.25Ghz with 1.25GB RAM. Most problems happen when I do something like dragging symbol in from the resource browser. 95% of the drawing is made with 3D symbols... Any suggestions? Thanks, Ben. Quote Link to comment
Ben Hammett
So I seem to have found the problem - a killer symbol. I don't know how but dragging a particular symbol onto the drawing crashes VW. I recently used it as a template for new symbols I needed, so that's probably when the damage happened. I'd still be interested what file sizes other users are racking up, and if there's a physical limit to what VW can handle. Cheers for now, ben. Quote Link to comment
