Ted Walsh
I am trying to place plants as described in 5.2 (manual). In the Resource Browser the first drop down menu shows "00 Plants Lists",followed by "Top Level" not "Plants" and "System Folder" as in the manual. So I cannot access any plants. Is this because I have not set up any plants in the Plant Catalog, (5.12)? If so, how do I do this? Thanks Ted Walsh Quote Link to comment
Guest
Yes. Before you can use the Plant Tool, you need to set up a plant definition in the Plant Catalog. If you click on the Plant tool and then click in the drawing - a dialog will come up stating you don't have anything in the plant catalog and will ask if you want the program to take you there. In the Define Plant dialog box, you can setup your plant definitions. Once plant definitions are created, you can click on the plant tool - then in the drawing and a place plant dialog box will appear. The plants available for placement are all the plants you've created in the Plant Catalog for this file. Select the plant and the placement type, then click OK. Click away to place the plants.
