Steve Cox Posted July 26, 2004 Share Posted July 26, 2004 Running VW11, Mac OS 10.3.4 Dual G5 When I open a file with a long file name the name at the top of the window is truncated. e.g. '501 CPS Interconnect Diagram Racked P' shows as '501 CPS Interconnect Diag#46205'. The truncated filename also appears in the recent file list. One saving grace is that when saving the original file is updated and the name not changed. With just one file it's not too much of a problem, but I work wih a lot of file with similar names. Is VW 11 still stuck with the filename length limitations of the old Mac OS's?
