Abby
Is there a setting where one is able to turn off hatches temporarily? It seems to be affecting my redraw time considerably to have a lot of hatches. Thank you- Quote Link to comment
Guest
The only way to turn off the hatches is to change the fill from the hatch to a solid, or set the class the objects belong to as an invisible class. Quote Link to comment
Abby
Hmmm. That's what I suspected. It would be nice in the future to be able to disable and enable them with a setting. Thanks for the quick response. Quote Link to comment
ionw
A crude workaround we have used, is to duplicate the object you want hatched and place it on another layer. That way you have a hollow outline on your working layers and a hatched version on the presentation layers. When you work you turn the layers with the hatching off, and when you print turn them on. crude, but it works. HTH Quote Link to comment
CADilLAD
How much memory do you have? What version are you running? How fast is your cpu? Thanks. Quote Link to comment
