poxod
I'm having a problem with font mapping on one of my machines. It is substituting Arial for Gill Sans every time I open a drawing. It also saves the new drawing with the incorrect font (it never displays correctly again, even on another machine.) How do I fix this? The problem began after I imported a dxf file and substituted fonts, but that shouldn't be a global mapping, should it? Thanks, --Chris Quote Link to comment

Guest
Once you set the font mapping on a specific file, it's stored in the font mapping settings. Go to VectorWorks Preferences to remove the font mapping. If you are having problems with not being able to select fonts that you see in the fonts list, you could have a font corruption or missing component problem. You should download a font utility such as Font Doctor Pro or something like that at versiontracker.com and search for font repair utility. Quote Link to comment
