Guest
An error type 2 is usually memory related or an extension conflict. What version of VW are you using, what version of OS 9 are you using? How much memory do you have? WHat are you doing in the program when you get the message? Quote Link to comment

mbuja
What exactly is a Type 2 Error? and why does it keep happening? I will randomly pop up and then crash my computer. Luckily I save quite often, but it is SOOOO annoying. Quote Link to comment

MullinRJ
Hi Katie, Two of your three questions are answered, hiding for all to see. They are in your quote. OS9.2 & 1.25GB w/ 164MB allocated. Only the VW version is missing. Six thirty-eight on Saturday evening. Your diligence is admirable, and appreciated. Thanks, Katie. Raymond Quote Link to comment
Guest
Thanks Raymond .. I missed the info in the quote. Mbuja - You could possibly have too much memory allocated to VW depending on the other applications you have running while VW is running. Try lowering the allocated memory about 80,000 for the preferred. Leave the other two set to the minimum. You shouldn't need more than 100,000 set for the preferred unless you are working with a file larger than 15 mb and rendering. Quote Link to comment
