Brian Lackey
I updated today to 10.2.3. I now get random messages that my dongle is no longer attached. I went to Hasp's web site and there are no new drivers. Brian 10.2.3 VW 10.5.1 Quote Link to comment
Guest
Update to at least 10.2.6 or 10.2.8 for the OS before you think about using VectorWorks. Second, you'll need to make sure the computer is not going to sleep and the hard drive and external drivers are not set to sleep. The moment the computer or hardware in which the dongle is plugged into goes to sleep, VW looses connection with the dongle. It cannot reconnect to the dongle durring a session of VW; it can only reconnect upon launch of the application. Another thing - once you update to OS 10.2.8, make sure you run Disk Utility (Applications:Utilities folder> Disk Utility) First Aid to verify and repair disk permissions. This will save you headaches and frustrations in the future. Quote Link to comment
Brian Lackey
Sorry, I have 10.3.3. That is the OS. Went from 10.3.2 to 10.3.3 yesterday. Sorry for the typo. Quote Link to comment
Guest
Have you run disk utility's First Aid? Have you checked to make sure you don't have drives set to sleep? Quote Link to comment
