Viswa Posted October 3, 2003 Share Posted October 3, 2003 Hi Frnds, I am a new user of VW 9.5.1 and I would like to know about the availability of Drafting aids option in this version.Earlier when I used VW 8 version, there was an option by name "Design" in the main menu bar from where we can choose the option 'Holes' from 'Drafting aids', which also includes 'Keyways','Shaft breaks' etc options. But now in this VW9.5.1, I am unable to find especially this 'Holes' option that I need to use more frequently in my designs. I tried by editing the WorkSpace options,but I couldnt manage to find it. As that option is the main requirement for my design I will be glad if any one can suggest the way to find it. Also I will be happy if any one can tell me how to convert the VW files to quick time movie files (or conversion to any type of media files). Suggestions are requested. Rgds, Viswa. Guest Posted October 3, 2003 Share Posted October 3, 2003 It sounds like you just have foundation and do not have any of the add on products such as mechanical or architect. Things like elevation markers and north arrow and revision marker are in the resource palette library file Drafting Tools and Drawing Graphics. The tapped hole and drilled hole plug in objects are only available in Mechanical. Quote Link to comment
