Ian12frank
Been running Vectorworks 2008 on iMac I need to upgrade to El Capitan and Vectorworks 2017 which is fine. But I have inherited some Vectorworks 2009 files which won't open in my trial version of 2017 it seems the 2009 program was unregistered and I have no serial No's for it. Can I buy a serial for 2009 or do I have to back export all files to 2008 then into 2017. This is tedious and time consuming also I end up with 3 copies of the same drawing. Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted October 7, 2016 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted October 7, 2016 Contact Tech@vectorworks.net with all of the files that you have in this state and they can take a look. Generally they can convert files one time for you after a purchase if they're watermarked, but check with them directly, this is done case-by-case. Quote Link to comment
Ian12frank
Thanks Jim, I am going to put them in a dedicated folder as I find them, then do as you suggest. Quote Link to comment
