Petrolinus
I am having trouble edwith my workspace editor. It simply does not work and tells me to check if the "workspace" folder does exist ord if the disc is full. Everything is fine. What should I do? Quote Link to comment
Guest
are you on a mac or pc? Go to the workspaces folder in the VW folder and see if the workspace you want to edit is set to be locked or read only (need read write). How much free hard disk space do you have? Quote Link to comment
Petrolinus
I am on a PC. Like I said, I have plenty of disc space and the files I want to edit are set to read/write option. I am working on a Brazilian version of the software, so I could only imageine there would be some trouble addressing the folder by its name in portuguese. I have run out of ideas, but need to solve the problem, so your help is very much appreciated. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
Guest
The files you want are read write, but are the workspace files in the workspace folder set to read write , or read only, or archive? Quote Link to comment
Petrolinus
Tha files in the Vectorworks 10.0.1 workspace folder are set to "archive". Just as all the other .ovl files on my Vectorworks 8.5 workspace folder (which works). I don?t think this is the problem, it might be a bug. Has this happened before? Quote Link to comment
Guest
Not that I know of, but we don't work with braziallan copies of hte OS or of VW. Try contacting your local distributor to see if there's a known issue with the localized version of VW. Quote Link to comment
