Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted September 15, 2015 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted September 15, 2015 SORT of, but I can be super clear on the answer soon. Please describe what specifically about multi pass rendering you're looking for, it kind of means a few different things depending where you ask. Quote Link to comment
Chris Gentry
Like Cinema... able to separate out the render into layers for post compositing. Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted September 15, 2015 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted September 15, 2015 Apologies for getting your hopes up about how soon you'd see that. There are some aspects/benefits of mutlipass rendering that will be coming extremely soon, but being able to manually separate the layers for post isn't among them for now. Quote Link to comment
Chris Gentry
On the roadmap? Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted September 15, 2015 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted September 15, 2015 Very much so. Luckily, we get a large majority of the rendering features from Cinema4D just by using their rendering engine, which means that when you see something current or new in C4D, we may very well get it a bit later. There Is a delay though, due to licensing reasons, even though we are both owned by Nemetschek AG we operate completely independently. Quote Link to comment
