OliLights Posted March 3, 2015 Share Posted March 3, 2015 Hi All, Does anyone know if there are plans to implement the ability to directly handle 3D point clouds directly within Vectorworks. This will be a huge deal for us if this were to be added to future releases of VW. At the moment there are many options for AutoCAD and Solidworks and really fee that VW and it's users could benefit massively from having this capability with this great software. Our company has invested in a Faro scanner recently and now see opportunities to bring this into our BIM workflows now. Many Thanks O Quote Link to comment

We have found great ways of managing our point cloud data into a form that would be manageable to most for reverse engineering and modelling. Thanks for the quick response Jim.
