Guest Wes Gardner Posted January 14, 2015 Share Posted January 14, 2015 (edited) Hi Chris, A suggestion might be to use the "auto-dormer" tool as a conceptual design tool. You can then "break it up" using Ungroup which will give you walls and roof faces, you'll then be able to class/layer them appropriately to achieve the look you're after for your construction drawings. ChrisA Posted January 14, 2015 Author Share Posted January 14, 2015 thanks Wes I thought that might be the case, but since we are still in DD phase i dont want to ungroup the roof object just yet, I think I can add windows to the wall and just not have them show up on the schedule.
