shortened door sidelights

The window portion of a sidelight often has "paneling" under it. It would be nice to have some customization of the sash width so they might match the rails and/or stiles of the door.

This is one of the things that windoor does easily. If you're in Australia or New Zealand you will have the ability to do this, but not if you live outside of these countries.

There is a workaround, where you make separate windows and push them together with the door, but that causes trouble when it comes to scheduling the door on the window. The other solution is to use separate windows with the door, and combine all the objects into a symbol. Then when you create your door with the door tool, you can use the option "use symbol geometry."

This has the advantage of keeping the door as a single object as well is giving you the flexibility to create the door style you want.
