J Lucas
Does anyone know of a way to easily spell check the Keynotes? Previously I have imported the text into Word to spell check and then exported back to text. Quote Link to comment

Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted October 31, 2014 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted October 31, 2014 If you want it to only spellcheck within callouts/keynotes, you can use Select Similar to select them all first, then running the Check Spelling command should only check the spelling of objects within the active selection. J Lucas
As far as I can tell, VW does not check the spelling in the keynote legends. Quote Link to comment

Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted October 31, 2014 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted October 31, 2014 However I just noticed if I ONLY select the Legend, then run the Check Spelling command, it does not pick them up. Either no objects should be selected before running Check spelling, or the Callout objects need to be selected before running it, then it will check the contents of the legend. Quote Link to comment
J Lucas
I got it to work by selecting the keynote callouts inside a sheet viewport. It does not work when nothing is selected or when the keynote legend is selected. What spell check category does do keynote legends fall under? Text block? Quote Link to comment

J Lucas
Maybe that was it. I did not have that checked because it seems to check a thousand other things with all sorts of odd abbreviations etc. Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted October 31, 2014 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted October 31, 2014 It makes sense that users should be able to sort what Check Spelling is looking at by object type, rather than the limited categories it offers now to avoid that extra stuff. I'll submit a feature request for that. Quote Link to comment
