VincentCuclair
Is this a bug or does it work as designed? Edited January 17, 2014 by Vincent C Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted January 17, 2014 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted January 17, 2014 (edited) I do not get that same behavior here, (but if it were I would say it was broken.) Could you please post that window in a VWX file? I'll test it on my machines. Edited January 17, 2014 by JimW Quote Link to comment
VincentCuclair
What happens if you use the Sill class and/or Ceiling-Main class Jim? Attached is a file with 2 identical windows placed in 2 different classes one shows the issue and the other doesn't? Seems to be a class thing but i don't know what? Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted January 17, 2014 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted January 17, 2014 (edited) I mean, you shouldn't use those classes for the transom. Those classes should be left to the objects that auto-assign to them and not have additional objects added to them later, but I will test that with your file as well. VincentCuclair
Absolutely and i normally do use the correct classes however i was testing this in a new clean file and discovered this behaviour with existing classes but don't understand the logic thus I cannot adjust my custom classes to avoid this behaviour, savy? Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted January 17, 2014 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted January 17, 2014 I see the same issues you describe with your door, but upon adding a new one it does not behave the same way. Have you updated to SP2 yet? (thats the one i'm using at the moment) I know a lot of users have opted to skip it for other reasons. Quote Link to comment
VincentCuclair
Well i did but had stability issues so went back.....ok i'll work around it for now. Thanks Jim! Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted January 20, 2014 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted January 20, 2014 Confirmed with engineering it was indeed an issue that was patched specifically in SP2. Quote Link to comment
