Dimensions 'doubled' when printed (BIM)

EDIT: Please ignore, problem solved itself, though I have no idea how or why.

Hello all,

We've finally moved forward towards using BIM instead of 2D drafting. Have a house drawn in BIM, and was feeling quite proud of myself thinking of all the time I had saved when it came time to send a dimensioned window schedule to a supplier.

Problem step by step:

1. I used a viewport to put the elevation on to a sheet file.

2. I double clicked on the elevation to edit view port

3. Selected edit annotations

4. Dimensioned - text looked weird because outlined but thought I could live with it

5. Returned to and printed sheet

The text appears twice, and still outlined (but again could live with the outline). What am I doing wrong?
