Bitter Bear Posted December 14, 2012 Share Posted December 14, 2012 I am wondering if anyone has found a time efficient way to create Pipe/Truss tapes in spotlight. We used to use WSYIWYG where I work and on that we were able to create Pipe Tape. I have been looking for a way to somewhat duplicate that process and I am not having a lot of luck. So far every solution I have found is no faster than me writing out the tapes by hand. To clarify, when I say Pipe tape I mean one long continuing piece of tape that has the instrument information on it spaced out in scale with the center line marked. With that setup I can just quickly attach the tape and then my crew knows where to hang the fixture, what circuit to run to it, what gel to drop, etc. When I use these it saves me A LOT of time on site. Has anyone uncovered any tricks or scripts that help accomplish this? Quote Link to comment
