Ben W Posted November 14, 2005 Share Posted November 14, 2005 Why is it that you can texture different sides of a wall/roof differently but you can do this with a floor slab? Can anyone help? I have only justed started using the 3D part of vectorworks. Quote Link to comment

Keep asking and eventually you shall (hopefully) receive. :-) If you are looking for a workaround there are a few. My personal favorite is to create two (or more) of each item, the second one being very skinny and placed just above (or below) the first as req'd. Then you have two surfaces to texture. You also create potential chaos in your file with "extra" 3d elements. This can be solved by placing these into their own class that is only made visible for visualization, and not for CD's...
