Call Out tool unable to change Marker

Hi,

I'm new to Vectorworks and am setting up templates and standard symbols for a practice changing to VW from ACAD.

I am able to create a new Marker which we like the look of but I am unable to use it or any other.

When I go to use the Call Out tool, edit its Preferences to use a Marker other than the filled arrow it doesn't do it.

Has anyone else come across this and know how to fix it or work around it?

I can however change the Marker when using the Leader tool which is weird.

Here's another one that I can answer...

Its not easy for Noobs like us, but it can be done

Once the leader line or Call Out has been placed, its marker can be modified from the bottom of Attributes palette w/ the Line Endpoint Style drop down that takes you to the Marker List where you can Edit Marker List and customize the set of markers.

From the Edit Marker List dialog box, click New to create a new marker type, or click Edit to change the currently selected marker type.
