RET
This question may be too complicated to express in writing but here goes.....I am trying to show a milled pathway that is milled into the surface of a solid. For the sake of an example lets say the pathway has rounded corners and is.25 wide by .5 deep. after extruding the solid I cannot seem to put together the procedure for showing the milled pathway in 3D. Can anyone help me out.... Quote Link to comment
Delmer
Draw a closed path profile, draw a poly or line to run the course of the path, extrude the profile along the path. Place this object where it wants to be in relation to your solid element, subtract solids. Quote Link to comment
Delmer
Keep in mind that if you don't get it just right the first time you can edit the various components by double-clicking them. If your path is straight, you can do a simple profile extrude and use it in your solid subtraction. Quote Link to comment
