James Milkey
I'm having trouble when I go to change an object pen color or fill color from class style to any other style because when I click on either option, Vectorworks gives me an abnormal program termination message. Any suggestions. Quote Link to comment
Matthew Giampapa
James, Try exporting the file to VectorWorks 8 format, then reopening it in VectorWorks 9. This will sometimes fix odd class problems like that. If that does not take care of the problem, email the file to tech@nemetschek.net Matthew GiampapaNNA Technical Support Quote Link to comment
James Milkey
If I exported to 8,would I lose any of the architect features I had in the document? Quote Link to comment
Guest
What version of VW are you using ? This was a problem in VW 9.5 that I believe was fixed for VW 9.5.1 if my memory serves me right. If you are using VW 9.5, try to update to VW 9.5.1. If you are using VW 9.5.1 and still having this problem, I will have to bug list this problem again for the engineers to fix. The workaround for this is to draw an object in the drawing and have it a member of a class that does not have Use at Creation selected. Change the attributes of that object thru the attribute palette. You should be able to change the the attributes of any other object in the drawing after that without crashing. Please let me know the results so I can further document this in our bug list. Quote Link to comment
