Erik Buijs Posted March 17, 2002 Share Posted March 17, 2002 Importing dwg files has been improved in VW9, but I still have some problems: extruded objects / solids wich are made in AutoCad can not be imported in VW unless you explode them first. Guest Posted March 20, 2002 Share Posted March 20, 2002 We do not currently import ACIS solids. You'll have to convert them to meshes as described in the manual before they will import. You can increase the facetres AutoCAD variable to something like 5 to increase the number of faces which will make for smoother curved surfaces when exporting to .3ds. Quote Link to comment
