Crashes VW2009 on Core i3 iMac

Hi.

One of our clients is using VW2009 on a bunch of 21" iMacs running 10.6.5. The "old" models with Core 2 Duo work quite stable, on newer ones featuring a Core i3, crashes of VW2009 occur frequently.

Has anyone else seen this issue? It this a "known" issue?

Any way to fix that other than upgrading VW or not using Core i3 CPUs?

Most of the time, those crashes are a result of the wrong video drivers for Quick Time, at least in my experience on PC's. Make sure you have the right driver loaded for that version. It may be that it doesn't recognize the older version if a newer version is installed.
