RE - the drop down plant list in Windows version of 2008, 2009, 2010 Landmark

Basically if you hit the letter T - it should go to the first plant starting with that letter. It does not

With a long plant list the scrolling becomes very tedious.

It works perfectly on MAC. Does this mean its a windows problem ?Can this be fixed?

It has been bug listed but never seems to get fixed.
