Moehl
Hi! I have an issue with the viewport annotation mode in v2010. When i'm in the annotation mode within a viewport on a sheet layer, the boundary grips are selectable (even though the boundary isn't visible.) When the boundary is close to an object the program seems to make the boundary grip selection a priority over the object grip selection and this is making quickly dimensioning something within the viewport difficult. If it's possible i'd like to turn this feature off. Can someone point me in the right direction, i couldn't find anything within the program or document preferences. Thanks, Mike Quote Link to comment
Ray Libby
You can't turn it off. What you could do is enter crop edit and give the crop object a class that is not visible, then you won't be able to snap to it when in annotation edit. Quote Link to comment

Ray Libby
Sure, and remember if you want to edit the crop object you need to turn the class back on. There have been so many posts with people losing the ability to edit the crop because of this, it's great to have someone take advantage of it! Quote Link to comment
