Did you try quitting Vectorworks and restarting?

Did you try rebooting?

Are you using a compatible version of quicktime?

Does control-Z work in other applications?

Have you tried a different keyboard?

Have you tried unistalling each 10 and 11 and reinstalling and testing them one at a time?

Hey guys, thanks for the replies!

I am using a P3 with 2GB with windows XP Professional...

I tried switching to another keyboard. no go (both are ps2, non usb keyboard was tested yet though)

I tried resetting the computer, and as well only restarting the app. no go

I tried copying text from another app, into VW and it pastes great. All other CTRL combinations are just not happening (ctrl+z ctrl+a ctrl+x ctrl+c ctrl+v ... etc)

quicktime was never installed on this system. But used to work here. [limited, can't install anything here]

Seems that this issue is coming from VW because CTRL works perfectly on any other app on this computer.

Is there a keyboard configuration for this app ?

You need to install approprite version of Quicktime.

Keybord / shortcuts customization is availible in workspace editor - here

(No sure if it has the same location in older versions of VW.)

We tried to monitor windows messages going out to VectorWorks, and we could see that WM_KEYDOWN and WM_KEYUP were sent to the app.

We also tried to replace the keyboard to a USB one but still no go.

The Workspace settings were good for a few shortcut keys, but we could not find a place there where you could substitute a ctrl+Z to something else...

Seems like something internal to VW.

Any ideas ?
