csousawy
Some of my students have filled out the form for a free version of Vectorworks. Some of them have received the installation CD but no serial number. Some of them haven't received their CD yet after about 1 1/2 months. They have tried emailing and calling support, to no avail. Anyone else having problems with obtaining the free student versions? Guest
Are you and/or your students contacting Student Services via the email/phone on the posted page or the standard support department? Quote Link to comment
Guest
The application for a free student copy requires the user to provide a valid .edu e-mail that the serial number is e-mailed to. If you don't receive the number within a few days please check your junk mail. Since the serial number is made up of random letters, some junk mail fillers see the e-mail as spam or junk mail. Also, the application has a place to let us know if you need the DVD. If you check that you have the software already we will not ship a DVD. Lastly, always double check the form. When a mistake is made and the application reloads some data may default back, loosing the data you enter. If you have any other question please contact StudentServices@VectorWorks.net or call 877-202-3952. Quote Link to comment
csousawy
Thank you both. They are using the email address and phone number on the page. Should they contact the standard support department. I will make sure that they used their school email addresses, and to double check their junk mail filters. Quote Link to comment
csousawy
Katie, If they continue to have problems who should they contact? They have tried the phone number and email on the page. I have tried calling and emailing. I get the runaround on the phone and no response by email. Quote Link to comment
