ASL Posted December 29, 2007 Share Posted December 29, 2007 In an effort to try and track down why all my file sizes on a project just exploded, I am trying to pin-point the potential problem: Typically all of our project files use referenced symbols, i.e. we have a file in which all symbols for the project get drawn and made into symbols and then each and every file in the project uses these symbols via reference symbols. This seemed to be working great until this afternoon, when all files which used to be around 1MB grew to around 8MB. I have now set up one test file in the project, which does not use any reference symbols and it has stayed at apx. 900KB. What experience are others having with referenced symbols? And if you are not using referenced symbols how do you work with symbols? Quote Link to comment
