billtheia
Is there a tool, or a way to create a tool, that toggles Naming Standard's "enable Auto-Classing"? What I'm looking for is a tool button that can turn Auto-Classing on and off and show it's current state? It would operate similar to the Constraints Palette. I'm trying to use auto-classing but I find that I'm constantly turing it off to move things to a demo layer and back on so that I can quickly draw walls, doors, and windows without having to manually set classes. I already have a keyboard shortcut that gets me to the Standard Naming dialog where I can check and uncheck the Auto-Classing check-box but I'm finding that this doesn't quite fit the bill. The best solution would be something that showed my current state AND allowed me to change it. Quote Link to comment
